Our rentals start as low as $150 plus sales tax. Combo's, Slides, Waterslides Obstacle Courses all have different prices.

Do I have to have the moonbounce delivered or can I pick it up myself?

Unfortunately, you cannot pick the moonbounce up yourself. Due to safety concerns, we are required to set up and take down every rental. This ensures your safety, so the units can be properly anchored and rules and regulations reviewed. These units are made of commercial vinyl and are very heavy. SAFETY IS ALWAYS FIRST!

The other company I called leaves them overnight, or even for the weekend, why don't you?

Our rentals are for one day. When you complete your reservation form we ask you to select 6 hours. That was designed to pick your party times, we deliver before and pick up after. While we understand the desire to keep them overnight, your insurance may not cover any damage that is caused in the middle of the night, these unit can cost over 5,000.00 to replace, not including lost rentals or shipping. Animals can chew the inflatable, it could be stolen, damage may happen after dark, we don't want to put our customers at risk.
If you are having an overnight party, we do offer a 2 day rental. Call for details.

Are your units clean?

Yes, absolutely! We maintain our inflatables every time they are used. Our inflatables are inspected for worn areas that might cause a safety concern. We then clean and sanitize our inflatables with an all purpose disinfectant cleaner. It kills 99.99% of germs it is effective against Streptococcus pyogenes (strep), Escherichia coli 0157:H7 (E.coli) Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus (Staph), Klebsiella pneumoniae, Trichophyton mentagrophyte(athlete"s foot fugus), HIV-1 (AIDS Virus), Influenza and Herpes Simplex type 2. Our units are vacuumed and sanitized prior to each use.

How much room do I need to set up?

Most of our units require a 20 X 20 area that is semi-level, clear of any rocks, sticks, roots, animal droppings, hazardous materials etc that could puncture the bounce. Also, if you have an in-ground sprinkler system, make sure it is turned off and the sprinkler heads are not engaged. It is also imperative that the location allows for overhead clearance from any trees and power lines

We live in an apartment/townhouse and don't have a yard large enough, how can we still have a party for our child?

• Use the common area or two parking spaces side by side
• Use a relative's house for the party.
• For communions and other church related events, look into using your church grounds
• If for a birthday, combine parties with your child's friend that has a birthday close to your child's.
• Local parks can usually be used for parties.

How does the bounce stay inflated?

The bounce is inflated with a fully enclosed blower motor unit that must stay on the entire time the bounce unit is being used. The design of the blower is such that no moving parts are exposed. This is a very important safety feature that you should take into account whenever considering a rental. The blower unit must be located within 75 feet of an electrical outlet.

Can we set up the bounce on concrete or asphalt?

Yes, however for safety reasons, we prefer that the bounce be placed on a level, grassy area.

Can we set up inside?

Yes, There needs to be a double-wide door allowing access of the inflatable roll-ups. Also there needs to be a tall ceiling to allow for over head clearance of the inflatables when erect. If you have access to an indoor gymnasium or conference room, there is no need to be concerned with inclement weather conditions.

How do you keep the bounce from floating away?

While they are full of air, the bounces themselves are quite heavy. However, they do need to be staked down to avoid them "walking" around. We accomplish this with large sandbags at each corner when setting up on concrete, asphalt or inside. When setting up on grassy areas, we use large stakes that are driven into the ground. While these stakes do not go deep enough to hit utility line, please let us know if we wil be setting up near items such as drainage lines or sprinkler lines.

The location that we wish to use is not close to electrical power. Can we still have a bounce?

Don't let that stop you. We have generators available for rent, including a full tank of fuel, that will power the blowers that inflate the bounce.

What if it is windy or rainy on the day of my event?

If the local forecast is calling for high winds (>15 MPH), or rain on the morning of your reservation, we will contact you via phone to reschedule your reservation for another day or cancel the reservation. Rescheduling is based on availability for the day requested. If you feel that rain or wind is a concern, please bring this to our attention PRIOR to us arriving at your location. No refunds will be provided once the bounce is delivered.

What do I do in the event that we receive unexpected rain or high winds (>15 MPH) during our rental?

Given the frequency of afternoon thundershowers and storms in our area, this is a valid concern. It is important to remember that the bounce blower is powered by electricity and that electricity and water don't mix well. If rain is encountered, ask everyone to quickly and calmly exit the bounce. Once it is emptied, unplug the blower and allow the unit to deflate. DO NOT USE THE UNIT IN HEAVY RAIN OR HIGH WINDS! once the weather has passed, plug the blower back in, allow the unit to inflate and have an adult dry the interior with a towel. This is very important, as the vinyl is very slippery when wet. Once dry, the bounce can be utilized again.

Does Kangaroo Kids have insurance?

Definitely! Due to the high cost of insurance, there are many companies out there that choose not to carry insurance coverage. However, at Kangaroo Kids, we believe that this is the most important requirement for running a moon bounce rental business. As such, we are fully insured with a liability insurance policy. This statement in no way implies legal responsibility. Please read your rental agreement.

How many kids can be in the bounce at a time?

The moonbounce can hold approximately 8-10 children under 8 years old at a time, 6-8 children 8-11 years old & approximately 5 children over 11 years of age. our bounces have an 600-800 lb capacity. Limits are to be followed for the children's safety.

What are my responsibilities as the renter of the bounce?

Our contract requires that an adult be home when the bounce is setup. We will review the features of the bounce with this individual, as well as our safety regulations. Additionally, we will review our emergency procedures with this individual at the time of setup. An adult MUST accompany the bounce anytime the bounce is inflated. This person is responsible for the safety of the children, as well as, the care of the equipment by making sure that all safety rules and regulations are followed. Aside from safety items, it is the responsibility of the renter to provide for electrical power within 75 feet of the bounce and a level, open 20' X 20' area to set up on.

Call 864-650-3436 or email us at wanda@Kangarookidsrentals.com and we will be happy to process your reservation requested.

How much of a deposit is required to confirm a reservation?

While you may pay up to 100% of the rental fees up front if you like, we do not require a deposit at this time.

Why don't you charge a deposit?

We get asked this often. Some companies charge a deposit, most are non-refundable, even if it is refundable it takes several days to get your money back. As parents we know what its like to plan a party and have something come up that prevents the party from happening; sick child, weather or just life gets in the way. The last thing we want you to worry about is a lost deposit. Of course we would prefer you to reschedule, we don't require it. We do ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can make the unit available. We want to make this experience as enjoyable as possible - The easiest party you will ever have!

How can I pay for the unit?

We accept cash, MasterCard and Visa. Payment is due in full at the time of setup. The delivery person will provide you with a copy of the rules to review and discuss the safety procedures with you.

Do you provide special pricing to schools, churches and other non-profit organizations?

Absolutely! Please email or call us at 864-650-3436 for details. We would love to work with you. Please note that a moonbounce can make a great compliment to a non-profit fundraiser, such as a car wash, yard sale or other event. While the parents are getting the car washed, it provides some fun for the kids and also provides instant "curb appeal" for your function.
